i just jail broke my iPod 4th gen running ios 6.1.6 and it has cydia now but that's about it :/ the apps still cost money while my friends are buying everything for free and i don't have free in app purchases and my friends do. what's up with this ? or am I just a noob and did something wrong ? plz help

I jail broke my old ass 1st gen touch years ago, as I recall you need to get some app to get free apps.  I don't really remember.  

 

Also, don't most apps cost like $1-2?

That's not how it works. You don't just get free stuff for jailbreaking, you need to get apps through Cydia to enable this.

I have not a clue how they get apps for free... It really makes no sense, are you sure they're not lying to you? 

Downloading programs from CNet is not a good idea, as they will commonly include unwanted, and sometimes dangerous bloatware... The more you know.

@RichardsD ok, and ya i know some apps only cost 1-2$ i already bought alot of apps but wat ever i just wanted to rebel against aple, also i wanted to get new themes and differant custom options that it says in the description before yopu jail break but once i did it i didnt find any options to customize those things :/

@ReadyToGame pretty sure its real i was standing in front of my friend watching him click on an in app purchase button like 10 times and him getting around 1 million in game $$ and that would have costed him over 100$ irl and it didnt cost him anything

Trying to figure out how to basically steal money from devs and any company is basically a crime, and he's asking how he can basically commit a crime. So It goes against the CoC. Not allowed here.
