Samsung Galaxy S 5 Active won't connect to mobile data

Chosenminecraft
Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

So I have a Samsung Galaxy S 5 Active but when I connect to any wifi and then disconnect it refuses to connect to mobile data. I have turned data in and off and turned smart switch on and off. I even turned on and off roaming. The model number is SM-G870A and I am using it on the T-Mobile network. I live in the Twin Cities which is their 2nd largest market so it's not them. I have cellular services like talk and text. I am running unrooted android 4.4.2 with touchwhiz as well.

have you made sure that the APN settings are correct?

EDIT: It was the APN settings. Here is a link for anyone else having this issue on T-Mobile:

That is from a older build. Looks like my old phone. I'll do some Googleing to find them. Thanks for the help.

Have you tried contacting samsung or T-mobile?

No I haven't I try to deal with things using forums or other help sites before going and dealing with tech support. And I'm in school right now so I can't make a call.

Well I found it after searching APN in settings. I found the problem out. It was set up to 3G not LTE so I'll post the link to what the APN settings are for T-Mobile. Thank you for the help kind sir.
