So which of their peripherals suck the least? I'm thinking the deathadder.

 

Even if they are crappy, I still want to take advantage of the 50% off sale.

 

Use them for yourself and see how you like them. Others may hate them but I have a DeathAdder and a BlackWidow and love them both :D

How long have you had the blackwidow? The deathadder tends to gets positive views from all angles.

The blackwidow, however, has been said to have durability issues.

if anything, I think the mic holds the most value over time...since its just a rebranded yeti pro, which is actually really really good

I've had both since mid-2013. The DeathAdder is great - it fits my hands better than any mice that I have used. As far as the keyboard, I've never had an issue with it. Then again, of you're someone who rages like a baby and throws his peripherals, nothing will last long. Treat anything well enough and it'll last forever.

I have a few friends who love Razer products, I don't understand it. If I had to say what sucks the least, probably their mouse pads, at least most of those work..

So most people think the keyboard is better than the deathadder? I was expecting the other way around

There's a lot more to go wrong with a mouse than a keyboard. Historically I have never had a keyboard die on me. I've had about 5 mice die on me if you include the Deathadder i almost bought from Best Buy ages ago where the employee was cool, let me take it out of the box and try it right when it promptly died after plugging it into a nearby iMac. xD

 

Seriously though, nothing from Razer made recently is a safe bet. Older stuff tends to be more reliable but they don't have a good history. If you want a mouse like the Deathadder then get the Zowie EC1 or really anything from Zowie and you'll be happy.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
