Diablo 3 Community

Hey LTT,

 

I did a quick search of communities in game and noticed there was nothing for us! I opened up a community titled LinusTechTips, Anyone who plays d3 is welcome to join in its a public community. Whether you want to get together for runs both season and non season, Need help power leveling or anything My friends and i will be more than happy to help. I hope we can get a lot of members to join in and enhance our d3 experience together

 

If we get a large enough community in game we will form it into an actually clan but for the time being i want to see how many diablo fans like myself and my friends are on the forums.

I play Diablo 3 and RoS, but only when I have the time. My work schedule has me out from 7:30am to anywhere up to 10:30pm. My only guaranteed day off is Sunday. I may just check it out though.

Im online throughout the week at different times same with a few of my friends, We do our best to help people farm for gear and get up there with us. We run torment 4 and up when its just us but we have no problem helping out some of the lesser users.

You can join for whatever your purpose is, Its just an open community on the game for the forum members to congregate in game

I have no idea how to get that kind of gear, thats killer. Im doing about 860k or so on my main character.

My non season crusader is at about 1.2 million but my toughness isnt up anywhere near yours.

How do you guys get that much damage? Holy...

Perhaps I'm just not playing enough, but the drops I get in Torment 3 don't really seem to be that great. It's been a long while since I've gotten something better than what I have now.

rolls, my dh rocks 483% crit damage 40% chance 58% attack speed and almost max bow. with 5 turrets going its insane damage. monk has around the same but 1333 resist in almost everything. i need to correct a few more rolls and both can run through t6

Two Words, Paragon Levels. 

 

Remember, it's a Blizzard game, and they LOVE percentage based stats and modifiers. The gear can only roll so well, but stacking para levels on top of them helps way more then slightly better rolls will. Para levels are infinite, and more=better. When you get into the 500+ para levels, percentage based stats just keep getting better, faster. Nonseasonal I'm a nooblike 196(?), and seasonal, around 105(?). Seasonal crusader hits way harder then my nonseasonal, but has better a pretty great Maximus, and buttloads of +fire. So, gear can make a diif, but give that same Maximus and +fire to my nonseasonal, and it would likely be over 1.2m DPS just from the added para levels.

I'll have to look into this... I've been playing D3 a little more lately while anticipating the new patch and upcoming season 2, but my clan of over 40 members seems to have died and lost nearly half of them in my absence. 

 

Good thing I can join communities without leaving the clan.

That was my hope, i never did join a clan cause they are always so hard core. I wanted to try and start a more layed back group for people of all skill levels, gear levels all that kind of stuff where they can seek and give help as needed.

my non seasonal is pretty nooby to, about 180 or so. I only started seasonal last weekend but im already around 70 or so and going up really fast. that patch you mentioned goes live this coming tuesday.

For those that havent looked into the community news recently, When season one ends and they do the rollover, Your entire paragon exp pool (not the levels but the raw exp pool) will rollover into your non seasonal. For example if your non season paragon is 300 and your seasonal is 200 you wont be paragon 500, Youll be at whatever level your raw exp pool equates to.'

if hes offline and im online ill help as well. ill do GRs or regular rifts so u get leg gems plus gear or exp and gear, im fine with both and im geared through the roof for the most part

Does Diablo 3 and the expansion pack go on sale? It's cheaper to buy it on the console but I would love to have it for my pc.

They do sometimes. It isn't much though... something like $20 each when they go on sale.

It's more a question of whether or not D3 is worth it without RoS.

 

I would say the answer is no. 

 

The game was completely rebalanced for the new level cap of 70... and it really shows if you're stuck at 60.

Unfortunately there is no mod support for the game at least not at this point. I personally dont think this game needs mods.

The only mods I would be interested in are graphics improvements and maybe animations but if the game looks fine without then I am okay with that.
