Posted January 10, 2015 Hey guys, so one of my cores is way hotter than the other cores. It's really weird, all the cores will bounce around 45-53, and the weird core does that too. But occasionally, that one odd core will bump up to 57-60 for a bit then come back down. Posted January 10, 2015 My number 2 core does this as well sometimes I notice its in sync with the multiplier, so I have been thinking that its most likely caused by the CPU boosting the single core for a few seconds. But it's only 3 C for Core 0, and that seems normal Also I approve of your new avatar This could also by caused by uneven paste coverage (HIGHLY unlikely) or uneven CPU cooler mount (unlikely but happens from time to time). Honestly I wouldn't worry since the temperatures are not even close to dangerous btw, what's a good application for temps? Well the H55 is quite low end but that is pretty hot (My stock cooler 4790k doesn't even reach that high).
