What drive would be better to use as an OS drive

windows, programs, and small files/documents on the 500GB drive, large video files, songs, etc... on the 2TB drive

try to put your games on the 500GB drive if they fit

 

 

WD Green is just made for storage purpose as it has larger capacity.

Install the windows on Seagate.

 

You still have plenty of storage in Seagate drive, You can install the games into that.

If you're ready for longer loading times install the games on WD Green.

Hi,

Friend gave me a 500GB HDD Today as he didn't need it. I was wondering should install my OS on the new 500GB HDD as in the Crystal Disk Mark tests shows that it was faster in everything.

 

Here is the drive names and capacities:

WD Green 2TB (WD20EZRX)

Seagate Pipeline HD 500GB (ST3500312CS)

 

What should I do, Install Windows 8.1 on the 500GB and all my games on the 2TB?

damn that wd is slow. like wow.

That's what me and my friend (Michael) said... At least the 2TB was free out of an old Acer desktop and Michael only charged £5 for the 500GB
