where do you go and what [if any] magazines do you subscribe to for pc gaming news?

for hardware and regular computer news i am pretty well informed, but when it comes to games it seems like i am missing out and havent really heard of much even though i have a beast gaming rig

For good indie games I usually hear about them from word of mouth. Regularly I just sort of search developers I like and see what they are working on and then follow the specific games I am interested in.

i honestly only know one hardcore computer gamer but he is an a$$ so i dont talk to him that often

There is a guy on youtube named TotalHalibut who does (when he's not busy) a series 5 days a week called Content Patch where he usually takes 5 pieces of news and just talks about how it affects us etc.

Really the only person I know that's into indie games is my brother-in-law but he is incredibly up to date so I just hear it from him :P
