Go to solution Solved by Octavialicious,

yep, and in the future if you need more fan ports you can buy a fan splitter which will add numerous slots :)

Hello! I have a Corsair 300r it supports 8 fans, It comes with 2, Can I add more? My MSI 970A only has 3 Fan Ports, Fan_1, Fan_2, CPU_FAN, Is it possiable to add more fans? I don't really need them But just curious.

Yes. Some fans come with a molex adapter so that you can plug them directly into your PSU if you dont have enough fan ports on your motherboard.

if you want  to add more use a fan cable splitter

You can split the fan headers with cables.  You can get a molex to 3 pin or molex to 4 pin adapter to plug them straight in your powersupply.

Or you can get a fan controller, they usually mount in a 5¼"  dvddrive slot (or two of them), or in a floppy drive slot, they plug in a molex connector, and let you control a bunch of fans.
