Is there a reason you are even considering the 600 ohm version? What's wrong with the 250?

The 600Ohms are harder to drive, but you could have easily asked that in your previous topic

Molex to SATA, lose all your data

The 600ohm version is intended for equipment that requires something to be drove with high impedance (redundant but true)
This is usually reserved for studio and legacy equipment.

Basically, if you don't know which one you need, then you don't need the 600ohm version.

Error: 410

Even at 250ohm you don't need an amp unless you like to blast music. I have the 250ohm DT990 Pros myself and have no issues driving them -- even from my iPhone. I usually sit around 50% volume.

well guess what, I have 990 edt. and I need them on 3x gain on o2 amp to get a satisfying sound out of them.

Good for you, fact remains that they get deafening for most people from integrated audio.
