Hello guys, I'm choosing some video cards, these are gonna be for working with Autocad, office and nothing heavy, we can say a normal use. I have in mind the Geforce gt 730 ( http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-730/specifications ), the ddr5 version, what do you think?

Thanks in advance guys!

For your uses i would highly suggest bare minimum the 750Ti, maybe even an entry level quadro. Something like the Quadro K420.

it's below meh.

It's not worth buying, a used old gpu will do better or if you are buying new then atleast a r7 250x, or gtx 750 and r7 260x.

Cheaper than those and you lose value.

the thing: is I think is a good option, yes it's not the better, but in this machine I'm not gonna play (LoL), I'll use a hdmi monitor and it uses very low power consumption.

PD. the motherboard in which I'll use this dosn't have on-board graphics LoL

Its about comparable to a R7 240 of which Linus did a "Review" (its more of a rant) of:

My opinion: waste of money, spend 2 times as much and get 4 times the performance.

Desktop: Intel i9-10850K (R9 3900X died 😢 )| MSI Z490 Tomahawk | RTX 2080 (borrowed from work) - MSI GTX 1080 | 64GB 3600MHz CL16 memory | Corsair H100i (NF-F12 fans) | Samsung 970 EVO 512GB | Intel 665p 2TB | Samsung 830 256GB| 3TB HDD | Corsair 450D | Corsair RM550x | MG279Q

Laptop: Surface Pro 7 (i5, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD)

Console: PlayStation 4 Pro

The GT 730 will work if all you need is a very cheap place to plug in a monitor and you don't have access to integrated video. Just don't expect to get much GPU acceleration out of it for AutoCAD.

I don't know a great deal about this particular software suite but this link might be of use to you for finding cards that are recommended for the program. I see several affordable recommendations there.
