Xbox 360 but not

Im thinking of gutting a 360 and putting a mini itx in it just for kicks

It looks like it will fit just fine

 

I would like to hear thoughts on this idea

 

So here is a product list that I think may fit

 

MSI FM2-A75IA-E53

Any Richland APU

8GB of any 1600Mhz ddr3

Noctua NH-L9a  for cooling

any ssd

Apevia ITX-AP250W

Also, sounds like a good idea if it can be done and if so, go for it.

If you leave out the GPU, or use some sort of cable to lay the GPU on the side and limit the size of the CPU cooler it could work. Not quite sure of the 360's dimensions though.

 yeah i figured i would cut out a vent in the side where the cpu cooler will be

standoffs (IF i remember right there are standoffs in original version) wont work+you will need additional modding to make IO fit+on off switch requires extra modding

Oh wow, I actually had a similar idea yesterday but with the Old big fat Xbox, But I wasn't sure what to put in it, I do know I want some green Leds and some new ventilation holes on the top around the big green xbox Emblem.
Its nice to se other people have similar ideas :D

i have a dremel, drill, soldering stuff, some wire and a radioshack near by lol
