Hello. My younger brother has A8-5600k Asus A85m-CSM 3x4gb of ram and a Asus GTX 560 TI DirectOC. He has asked my if he were to get an exact other one could he run SLI. I'm not sure but I think his mobo doesn't support SLI.

Nope, tell him to get a better card, maybe a r9 280, they are cheap now.

better to have a high-end gpu rather than two mid-tier ones

get a new gpu like maybe 750 ti  dont get anything too powerful or you will bottleneck the cpu
