You know a goldfish has memory retention over five months?

I thought they only remembered things that are food related longer than 3 seconds.

I know a lot of people, me included, close YouTube videos before the typical like/sub/comment/ what's coming next section at the end, so this way you still get to find out about future content

Isn't that a good reason not to put it in the beginning? If people turn the video off before a certain part then it's pretty obvious that people don't want to hear what's at the end. Shoehorning that stuff into the middle of the video just means you are making sure people watch the stuff they don't actually want to watch.

Want to stay updated on what's coming next? Then maybe watch the end of the video?

Personally I don't care since I don't watch a lot of their videos these days. Just thought that your comment was kind of arguing against itself a bit.

The same applies to a lot of human beings.

@LinusTech @Slick

Why are you guys doing the ''teaser for future video / subscribe for more'' snippet at the beginning of the video. Why not put it at the end like everyone else? Between the video introduction, the subscribe snippet, the sponsored ad, and the LLT intro it just takes way to long to get to the actual content IMO. And as someone whos already subscribed i find it kinda annyoing.

Anyone else bothered by that or am i being a douche?

I love when they do that. What's the deal? It only lasts for 5 seconds, if you don't like it just ignore it.
