Hello,

As the title may suggest I am a tab fiend! Does anyone know of any extensions or recommendations/suggestions that are good for tab fiends? Some pet peeves of mine are not being able to see the icon of the tabs after having like 40 open, and bad organization of tabs.

Any input is appreciated!!!

Thanks guys!

Have more than one window open then and split tabs in half, half on one window, half on the other.

Do you even have enough ram for that many tabs lol?? :P I can't handle more than 15 tabs before my 4GB ram gets maxed.

I am not a tab fiend at all. I dont know how you guys can have that many open at a time. My OCD kicks in after only having 10 open. :P

Jk, I'm not really OCD. ;)

Edit: the funny thing is, my desktop is constantly a mess because I have so many folders in my documents that I hate putting stuff in there because it takes forever to find it again, even though it's perfectly organized. xD

Lol i cant not have lots of tabs open im working on so many things!!!

And i think 16 gigs of RAM is fine :)

Have more than one window open then and split tabs in half, half on one window, half on the other.

I should do this.

Get a higher res monitor, or close some tabs.

I cant really close tabs i have lots of projects going on now. However i would like a higher res monitor (donations any1?)

I know that feeling... I usually have around 30+ tabs open, and the only thing that's stopping me from opening more is my measly 4Gb of DDR2 RAM.... Do you know how many times W7 force closed Chrome to free RAM...?!?!?! And the best part is that at one point i had 15~ of YT tabs open, all on videos, and reopening was hell... Now i only have 4!

To save RAM Just split all of your tabs over few windows :D

The best thing to do is to only look at the results of one thing at a time. Eg. You google something. Only open the tabs from that. If one of those tabs has a link you want to open, leave it, go back to the other tabs, read them, close them and THEN you can go on to another set. That's just a thing that I do, helps minimise the amount I have open.

but i dont care to minimalize my tabs. id rather have a faster work flow by just opening lots of stuff. But i also want to make having lotso tabs open easy and fast to maneuver
