Interesting, I have been looking to build a new system for some time now and this would be a good starting point.

If I win, I'll go out and buy a X99 motherboard, 32 gigs of DDR4 memory and a pair of GTX 970s in SLI to go with the new ballin' processor.

Winning this CPU would be the deciding factor on upgrading to the new X99 platform and DDR4 memory. I have been on the fence since its release and winning this would be the push I need to build my new rig.

If I were to win, I would be putting the extra cores to use video editing and 3D rendering with CAD. I would probably end up completely rebuilding my PC.
