Why so much hate for OS cloning?

Paul_VB

Any hardware or software inconsistencies have to be accounted for which can have the potential to slow down your computer. For maximum speed and performance always secure erase, fomat, partition, and do a fresh install. I guess some people just don't like being optimized!

so lets say you got a new build, and its really really fresh.. so you just had time to install all latest driver and some softwarer you always want when your OS is freshly installed  (and for sure you've ditched IE and got Chrome or firefox)

and for that situation let say that you are an absolute maniac about time loss and whatever it takes to install a fresh OS. and you'd like that the next time you'd want to get a fresh OS i was as simple as switching your boot drive!

i can go on and write an essay about this but i assume we're here all bright people so no need to explain further more.

:P

PS: thats what i'll do next OS cycle
