I'm a new subscriber to Linus's videos and saw the Puget mineral oil PC, so you guys might be interested in my own aquarium computer. Check it out

Huge blog post about it at http://eleccelerator.com/aquarium-computer/ , but to summarize

Intel i7 4790S, Nvidia GTX 970, H97M chipset, Corsair CX600M. Built onto a polycarbonate tray that is then dipped into a fish tank full of mineral oil. Fancy features like bubbling treasure chest, NeoPixel LED strip, oil pump+radiator, temperature monitoring, removable SSD.

I am an electrical engineer, there was plenty of custom circuitry in here

I would love some comments, questions, criticisms, if I missed some critical engineering detail and my tank is about to blow up, please tell me now before I flood my room

v cool.

Mineral oil PCs are cool but seem like such a hassle :P

btw I was thinking of doing electrical engineering. Would you mind talking to me about it?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

It is a hassle, took like a solid month of non-stop hard work

I PM'ed you about doing electrical engineering

10/10 would bang. @LinusTech you just got wrecked.

The Puget kit is much stronger and neater. I wish I can laser cut stuff (well, I can order laser cut acrylic online, but first, I didn't have any mechanical drawings to plan out the cuts, good luck asking Gigabyte for a 3D model of the GTX 970, and secondly, lexan is stronger than acrylic)
