Your CPU surviving 9 straight hours of prime95 does not guarantee that your web browser won't freeze your computer.

 

After 30-60minutes of fretting that my new GPU might be screwed up, I realized that maybe I should try bumping the voltage on my CPU up one more time... problem solved

Thats the beauty of overclocking.

Since people like me (cant say this for everyone else..), do not like to go and adventure in the mountains...

I like to adventure in the mysterious dangerous world of overclocking.

I am soo obsesed, I am Overclocking EVERYTHING...

Only for hyperthreading. With physical cores it's fine.

There is nothing wrong with it as far as I know?

Apparently it can over volt haswell CPUs

One of the things I learned is that older core 2 duos overclock that much higher than stock while on air its scary.
