Upgrade from FX 8350?

just overclock the 8350, not worth upgrading to 9370 or 9590, I have a 9370.

I have the 8350 right now and am NOT switching to intel becuase i have a good am3+ board (sabertooth 990fx 2.0)

 

I mostly game and multi task, i have a GTX 780 and 16GB of ram at 1866

 

Should i get the 9590? i can handle the temps (have the H110 with noctua industrial fans)

The 9590 will not be much better at all then the 8350.

Maybe wait 2 more years until AMD makes some better CPUs, and hopefully your motherboard chipset will still be compatible with them in 2016.

Just overclock, a 9590 is just an oc'd 8xxx chip

you can upgrade to the 9590 if you want, but i would save money to invest in an Intel i5/i7

No. You can easily overclock an 8350 to be at the 9590's level.

Okay thanks, i have the 8350 at 5ghz anyway usually. Just wondered if there was a difference big enough.
