I'm looking for a keyboard that isn't mechanical or anything alike. I'm coming from a laptop and they are my favorite kind (scissor switches) but it's hard to find a good quality keyboard that's also low profile.

I just bought and used an Steelseries apex raw and I was greatly disappointed, the keys felt bad quality, the keyboard felt somewhat hallow and not nice to type on and the compact keys were awful despite it being a large keyboard.

Please give me some suggestions I'd like a full or standard sized keyboard, wired, standard layout long shift, enter, and backspace, wrist rests are also nice and <$100

Why not?

It really is superb quality, and is very nice to press ^^

Having done two online classes with it and 100s of typing tests (I got bored during class) I despise it, it just feels like pressing down on a thick metal sheet which doesn't feel nice since I like to put a lot of force down when i type and key layout feels slightly too far apart almost like you can be out of position too easily.

Could you point out what laptop you use?

or even a photo would suffice.

I mean, from your words I can only tell that you don't need metal backplate under the keys.

A Lenovo g550, great to type on. Everything's where it should be or maybe that's just what I'm used to with the only con is lack of a high or acceptable key rollover but I wasn't going to do serious gaming on this laptop any way.
