so my cousin can get some craptastic beat exclusive headphones for $150 off. its still $200.

 

IMO there worth $110 max.

 

so for $199 or less in Canadian what could he get?

Sony MDR 1RB

 

Warm and deep bass, clear sound. 

Perfect shielded from outside and has kind of a vacuum feeling when you wear them.

For small to normal ears.

 

Should be about 130$

 

EDIT: Sorry, wrong price. You can get them @200$+

Let's talk about music preference, first. While the AKG K612 is extremely good, your cousin might be put off by the lack of artificially boosted bass.
