The main reasons? I dont need like a 10 pages of the particular things he achieved.

Probably because the energy-mass relation for a particle at rest (p=0) is incredibly short. It's one of the shortest and easiest equations to remember in all of Science, let alone one that deals with quantum particles in the relativistic limit.

General Relativity is a key pillar in Physics and his theory was truly ground-breaking, but E=mc^2 is the reason why he's remembered by laypeople above people like Bohr, Fermi, Pauli, who were also key people in Quantum Mechanics.

Not too sure, but I'm pretty sure he did something with electron diffraction, which could be interpreted as electricity and magnetism.

Thank you! :)

OOh, after a little more digging I just found this :)

"Maxwell developed equations that seemed to describe all electric and magnetic phenomena. His solutions to the equations described waves of electric and magnetic fields propagating through space—at speeds that matched the experimental value of the speed of light. Those equations provided a unified theory of electricity, magnetism, and light, as well as all other types of electromagnetic radiation, including infrared and ultraviolet light, radio waves, microwaves, x-rays, and gamma rays."
