Hello.

 

Is it worth to pay 33€ more for 1866MHz RAM speed when 1600MHz is cheaper for 33€? Is the performance of 1866MHz big in comparison to 1600MHz? Both are 16GB CL9 Kingston Savage.

 

The PC is gaming / video editing oriented

ram doesn't really get too hot

If you can overclock to 1866 on stock voltage, you'll be fine. The difference between 1600 and 1866 is about an extra 1-2FPS and that's if you're lucky. Not worth springing the extra on the slight chance of an extra frame.
