Windows 8 corrupt on a pre-built desktop. How do I wipe it and reinstall Windows 8?

Jaquavius

I don't have a USB, CD or anything. This is a NON-OEM version of Windows 8.

Normally, I would put my Windows 8 CD into my PC, format drives and reinstall Widnows.

This time I can't because I don't have the Windows 8 disc for this computer. What is my best way of cleaning or wiping?

EDIT: It is a Dell all-in-one.

Here, have an ISO. I hope you can download it. If not, try again tomorrow. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5mkRoxIcTA2MWl2UkkzMlFYYjA/edit

Burn it to a DVD, boot the PC from that DVD, and install. And by the way, did the PC come preinstalled with 8 or 8.1?

Restore partitions will still have bloatware.

Find an ISO online, boot the disc/USB drive, format partitions, and enter the product key.

Just make a Bootable USB with a ISO and try to Refresh the PC or Reset the PC.

If you can find restore option, do it. And get ADWCLEANER. If you still find some dell apps. Just Uninstall it with REVO UNINSTALLER to remove all left over file of the uninstalled application.

Where would I find the product key, since I don't have a Windows CD that came with the computer?

If you can boot into the OS you can do a factory reset in the PC settings.

You can also download Windows 8 upgrade installer thing from Microsofts website on another device and then use your product key and download it to that PC and then Install the OS to a Cd or USB.

Run factory defaults so that it goes back to just like when you first bought it. Then uninstall the softwares that you don't want. This is the fastest and easiest way. If you still want to perform a clean install, then pop in your Win8 disc and run setup. The disc is just a disc, if it's the correct disc, then it will read your embedded key and let you install. Dell and all other brand names run OEM versions of Win8 not retail.

It came pre-installed with 8.0

Then use the key 334NH-RXG76-64THK-C7CKG-D3VPT and use your key for activation.

Open the side menu on windows 8 and select "Settings"

Go to "Change PC settings"

Go to "Update and Recovery"

Go to "Recovery"

Here you will find options for reinstalling windows.
