Will my old pc's cpu bottleneck this gpu?

Hello! I'm new to this forum, so please bear with me. 

 

I am getting myself a new PC for Christmas since my current build is around 4 years old and is getting quite outdated. I can only spend ~$850, but I would like it as cheap as I can to have room left to buy peripherals and/or games [it's a gaming build]. I am also using some of my old parts from my current pc [The HDD, Operating System, and the CPU] for this build to save me some money.

 

I previously was going to go with the AMD FX-8450 but I was told it would bottleneck the 970, so I would like to see if my current CPU would do the same.

It should be fine. I don't think the 8350 will bottleneck either.

I'm not sure if an 8350 or 8450 would bottleneck a 970. I know someone who runs that and they don't really have any problem. You might get a few frames less from what i heard, but not a noticeable difference
