mATX case for new build?

Go to solution Solved by dizmo,

Caselabs S5.

But honestly it comes down to personal preference. Pick the one you like the most and go for it.
I don't think there really is one that's better than the other in this list.

Looking at changing a few components of my 2 (almost 3) year old system, the case is one one them. I want to go from my mid tower to a mATX case, but can't decide which would be best. So far my choices are, Corsair 350D, Bitfenix Prodigy M, Fractal Design Define Mini.

Which would work best? If you have another case to recommend let me hear it!

What about the Arc Mini R2?

I don't like the grill in front, I am a bit picky with the aesthetics of the case.

Prodigy M<350D=define mini

What is wrong with the prodigy, mostly positive reviews. Maybe because of the clutter inside? I heard it runs pretty cool for its size.

It is all personal preference. I find it to not look as good, have a odd footprint, and to be more difficult to build in than the others. Personally I would take the 350D

I figured as much, wanted to make sure though there was no huge problems with the cases, not mentioned in reviews.

Yeah 350D, best case ever. I have had it for a year now and I love it! You can't go wrong with it. Just be careful with the hard drive sleds as they are plastic and I accidentally broke one of mine. Thankfully Corsair were kind enough to send me a replacement. :)

Yeah saw the $80 too, thanks for the info.

I know I am asking a lot of questions, but if you know; cn you change out the windowed panel for the solid panel?

They sell a non window version and it is cheaper to.http://www.corsair.com/en-ca/obsidian-series-350d-micro-atx-pc-case
