I wouldn't recommend one, they have alot of defects and die quite often. What's your budget, and do you have a mechanical switch preference?

I don't like how they feel. I didn't like how they typed before the Razer-hate-hypetrain so that did not affect my opinion.

I have one and the build quality is really good. I've spilled miscellaneous liquids on it many times and it still works just fine. It is however extremely loud (blue switches).

That being said, if I were to buy a new keyboard, I'd get something like a Corsair RGB.

People talk about how Razer is bad and blahblahblah but I think they're just jumping on the bandwagon without actually using many of their products. (Things like the Razer Deathadder are outstanding)

Well I have one myself (typing on it atm) and personally I have no problems with it so I would recommend it :) Or you could jump on the Razer bandwagon hate and buy a Ducky Shine or something instead ;)

Check out that thread and tell me which result you got on the quiz. That would help us figure out what keyboard would suit you best!

And if going down the Razer route *eww Kailh switches* then you want Razer Orange switches. Those are basically Cherry MX Brown but made in China so they're UTTER CRAP.

Sorry. Hate Cherry switch knockoffs...

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I had one for 2 years and I loved my blackwidow. I honestly don't really get people just jumping on Razer hate bandwagon for no reason without trying their good product. Blackwidow uses their version of cherry blue and I loved how it sounds and felt. Honestly would recommend it if you can get it cheap. I have 2 different mech keyboards and I still think my blackwidow is just as good as other 'hipster' mech keyboards. Don't get sucked into 'all these popular gaming brand products are crap and never should be considered' hype train. You won't know it until you try them yourself IMHO.

Quality looks fine for the price... I've used one for extended periods and it's a bit noisy due to the MX Blue switches...

The macro keys on the left are confusing if you're used to a standard keyboard...
