Photo editing querstion

Go to solution Solved by C_Mike,

No, you can't. The only way is to use transparency.

btw, why exactly do you want to??

Is it possible to create an image that is not  square/rectangle?

I know you can use transparency to make a photo look like any shape, but is it possible to make for example a hexagon without using transparency, and just have the image in a hexagonal shape?

Thanks

Yes you can

just render in .PNG

PNG saves transparency though...

so it is still a square, but the area around the shape is just invisible.

I dont want it invisible, I just want it gone...

Oh Wait i think you mean you want to change the Aspect ratio to a certain shape?

Ok thanks, that is what I was wondering.

I was making some custom desktop icons for rainmeter and I was hoping I could use snap to edges on a hexagon rather than a square...

:( oh well
