Hi!

I've recently deconstructed and then assembled an old computer from 200-2004 (I think) and when I first plugged it in and started it up, I heard a short beep. I don't really know if thats a sign of a problem or not. After that I didn't start it up again, and I didn't see anything special on the screen except for the ''insert windows cd'' message.

So do you think that was a sign of a problem or some sort of an ''its all ok'' message?

Thank you

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

If it irritates you, you can often turn that off in BIOS. The pc is fine. Many pc's from that era would always beep upon POST.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

I believe that beep is the motherboard loading up the OS, always happens on my PC.
