So I live in Buffalo, NY. Not a place known for floods or a massive amount of rain/snow.

But today, I have been snowed inside of my house. Earlier today I couldn't open my garage door due to the amount of snow outside.

Keep in mind, the images below were taken from my PORCH. My porch is 2 FT above my garage door. Even the awning couldn't save us from this snow.

This image is a picture from a THROUGHWAY. A road people use to go to work.

This abundance of snow has also caused people to abandon their cars and be unable to get home.

But for us kids, this has made it possible for us to miss school without being counted as absent because all of the schools SHOULD BE CLOSED in a situation like this.

The government is even deploying the National Guard to help us out up here.

Seems like Indiana and Michigan last winter. I got snowed in at LeKnightHawk 's place for a week and a half. I hope our winter isn't this bad again.

It's already that bad again here in Michigan. We have 20+ inches as of this morning. 

We only got about 8 inches in that storm.

It's been snowing in CO since October..

 

Oct. 1st was when we first got snow. Been skiing since late October.

Not even that. When I was there today you had maybe 5. 

When I went to get my computer, I could see the dudes grass.

At the house we got 8. The totals were all over the place across town.

We had snow here in June once. Only once, and that was the week I was born. I think I'm bad luck sometimes.
