Hi all,

I thought I'd share one of my recent experiences with you. I was on Facebook when I saw Kitguru's post about the new BeQuiet case. I proceeded to follow the link and watch the video. I thought it looked really cool so I commented on Facebook "@LinusTech please review this" or something along those lines, I did this because I wanted Linus' opinions on the product. Promptly afterwards a page admin commented on my post asking if I could not link to other people and give feedback on there review. I replied with a statement basically saying "Yeah sure, sorry about that. I just wanted his opinion, is all. My opinions on your video are basically that it's good but is a little dry, adding some more personal opinions on the product would be very helpful. I felt like I was having a spec sheet read out to me." I thought this was completely reasonable however shortly after making this reply I got banned from Kitguru's Facebook page by an admin. Personally, I thought this was very much uncalled for.

What are your opinions? Would you have done the same thing if you were the admin?

Thanks,

SnowGhost

Well, I'm not completely positive, but I think Kitguru and LMG are straight up opponents. So that might be an equivalent to wondering about Microsoft's opinion on an iPad on Apple's site. Just sayin'

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

some moderators are preemptively ban-happy if you don't bend knee and apologize after their first warning. on a site like facebook they probably want to keep their section as clean as possible, and have a zero tolerance policy for anyone that asks thought provoking questions (like that simpsons episode where lisa keeps getting in trouble for questioning things).

No, it wouldn't. It would be like asking PC Gamer to review a game that IGN reviewed.
