They'll probably price it the same. They still have plenty of time to edit that power point slide.

I'm kinda expecting a price of $450, but that's just my guess. Even if they are priced the same, I think the PS4 would still be the one to get rather than the XBOX at the same price... Again, just my guess :)

You have to factor the Kinect 2 into the price as well, which is a $100-$150 accessory.

That no one asked for and which wont cost anywhere near as much as $100 to produce.

So a functional Xbox One, would require you to at least buy a game with the system. Average game cost is $60. Our taxes here (BC Canada) for electronics is still 12%. Bringing the total cost to $627.

I'd say most people I know who buy a console, will buy an extra controller because what history has shown a console is mostly always sold with one controller to bring down costs. Xbox 360 controllers are $50 to $60, so I'd assume the Xbox One controller to be at LEAST $60. So this will bring your total cost with tax to: $694.

So at the end of the day, most people will be leaving the store paying $700 for an Xbox One. OUCH

I sense the biggest console flop in years is upon us, you would have to be desperate for something to do to buy one of these things.

Bad enough that it spy's on you and collects data whenever its turned on, You now have to pay £429 for the privilege of having your privacy compromised.

It is a vile disgusting device, that should have these tracking feature's banned.

Microsofts influence and other corporations for that matter seriously needs reigning in, they are becoming too powerful.

1984 is upon us.....well it was 29 years ago but you know what i mean.

Whoa... Seriously? $399-$599 Range. That's awesome. Probably the $399 version would be a single player console and the $599 would include a bunch of accessories including a second controller for player 2 or it comes w/ a PS Vita which is holy hell! You sh*tting me?! Take my money then, Sony.

Yep, it's sounding good. Sony gives us OPTIONS, they don't just throw an overpriced HTPC at us and slap $499 price tag on it, and then tell us to like it *cough*microsoft*cough*

And another awesome thing is PS4 has a mandatory game demo requirement.

What you mean they announced those prices them self at their conference.

The article only states that it's a rumour, as far as I know, they haven't announced anything official yet? Or have they?

It was hilarious seeing the guy announce the pricing.

"... and it'll cost... *worried pause*... 429 british pounds." - gasps of breaths and more than a few boos from the crowd.

Sheesh. They should have just kept quiet about the damn thing and never released a detail before launch day, it would have done a hell of a lot less harm to their potential sales.

A big ol' F*CK YOU for price, 499$ =/= 499euros.

( Dont answer saying its shipping or anything, shipping is less than 2% of the price of the product. they do it because they know they can get away with it!)
