Im just hoping for 60+ on my OCed 980.

CPU: i9-13900k MOBO: Asus Strix Z790-E RAM: 64GB GSkill  CPU Cooler: Corsair H170i

GPU: Asus Strix RTX-4090 Case: Fractal Torrent PSU: Corsair HX-1000i Storage: 2TB Samsung 990 Pro

I can run it on ultra everything maxed, get between 40-60fps on my 4770k/680 but 50fps doesnt feel like 50fps

definitely cringe worthy however it fits quite well into the bloody horror type themes i tend to enjoy... Along with that i should mention im not insane or anything. I just enjoy horror games and movies! lol

If the game looks better, which seems to be the consensus, isn't that all that matters?

Well if a one crack in the wall is aded i dont think its all that matters. Its just for those who have high end rigs fc4 wont be anything new.

It's not as simple as a few added cracks in the wall lol.

 

I have FC3 and plan on getting FC4, I think I'll enjoy FC4 a LOT more from a story perspective., (Who cares about FC3 rich kids...no one,.. who cares for a son for-filling his mothers dying wishes, everyone)

 

The graphics have indeed been bumped up a notch.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

This is LTT. One cannot force "style over substance" values & agenda on people that actually aren't afraid to pop the lid off their electronic devices, which happens to be the most common denominator of this community. Rather than take shots at this community in every post, why not seek out like-minded individuals elsewhere?

Which glitches... if it's the black shadowing, the only thing you need to do to get rid of it is use SSAO Ambient Occlusion (nothing else has to be changed), Ultra /w SSAO is pretty.

If its the microstutter, well I have not a fix for that, but their XML file has GPUmaxbuffered frames on 0, I tried 1-5, no changes, probably a driver fix coming.

This got under my radar... seems this trailer I missed...

It's not, even with the pirated version having its own problems and issues, the performance of the engine is great, while still.. that doesnt speak for everyone, but those that have almost no problems, can play it on lowend hardware just fine.

I really feel like 60fps is absolute minimum for any first person shooter.  Target should be 120 or 144 to match the frequency of a newer monitor.  I'd rather play with gfx settings on low but a solid 120 than ultra with a bouncing 45 to 70 fps.  But when reading around I feel like I'm alone on this?

No you are not alone. I Will lower my settings if its not 60 fps for sure. In some games (i dont remember but it think it was crysis 3) 40 ands 60 fps is so different for me.

No you are not alone. I Will lower my settings if its not 60 fps for sure. In some games (i dont remember but it think it was crysis 3) 40 ands 60 fps is so different for me.

After 2k hours of 144hz gaming on cs:go, I find myself prefering to drop down to 720p @ low settings for most games to get that stable 144fps.

In this case, wait for proper driver/patch support.

I hope it releases tomorow and fixes these issues. The same for unity.
