Yeee ASUS has a new Direct CU III design! i bought the GTX 780 ACX from EVGA i wonder whic ones better :DDD

But the back plate says DCU II and by the looks of it. It's not a triple slot card unlike their previous gen DCU. Hoorah!

I upload them for you :) Asus says it uses 10mm Heatpipes and theyre new Cooltech Fan in combination with another fan

ASUS has published the details about the upcoming ASUS Geforce 780 DirectCU II OC graphics card. It will feature a custom PCB 16-phase DIGI+ VRM design, factory clocked at 889MHz core (vs 889 reference) with a 941 GPU Boost and 3GB GDDR5 clocked at 1201MHz (6008MHz data rate).

It also comes with a new cooler with four 10mm heatpipes and two different fans, one of which is an ASUS CoolTech fan. It also feature a backplate and the standard two SLI fingers. Neither the release date nor the pricing were revealed but it is expected to land anywhere between $650 and $700.

Notice that the left fan's blades are different from the other fan's.

It is the new CoolTech fan from ASUS. It creates more downward pressure.

Looks very similar to the Superclocked+ 680, so I would venture to say its probably the Superclocked+ 780/Classified

no version of the 780 has it i have the ACX version from EVGA and i would LOVE a backplate sooo hard

The DCU II coolers never look like they fit properly (apart from the 7970 version). Looks like it's more than than 2 slots wide too, 2.5 maybe.
