I would make linus go sky diving without a parachute.

 

Jk, but he wouldn't do that, you can't game on a mac, his lord gaben does not approve of a mac.

What would you do if Linus decided that he likes Macs more than PC's after his use of a mac over the next few weeks

 

here's me:

 

I would be fine because i like osx more thn windows 7 or 8.1 and like ubuntu the most  and yes i am a cmaster racer but only on windows because no games on linux or mac

@TheKDub , Well Macs can run Windows too and coincidentally a couple years ago a MacBook Pro was listed as one of the best computers for running Windows.

You technically can. On a Hackintosh, that is.

There's steam on mac... the hardware isn't up for the experience though.

"Can't game on Linux" My week I've spent on Kubuntu 14.10 has been enjoyable for gaming, about half of my steam library works on Linux which is more then enough.

That M290x on the 5K Mac is great for gaming, once you load up Bootcamp and install windows and what not

Even at 5K? Seems like a lot of pixels for a GPU that is designed for a laptop, and the fact it has been known to drop frames in the OS for in some cases.

If Linus decides he likes mac better, then what does it matter? He still has Windows and will obviously use both...

I wouldn't do shit, because I use both near daily and I know that with what Linus does and the kind of power-user he is, there's not a chance in hell that he will.

I was talking more about the OS, not the machine itself, you can't really game on OSX or whatever it is that most macs run.

It's all perspective. I mean ya sure you could get a similar Windows PC but maybe one doesn't like Windows or they can afford the extra cost of a Mac. 

Personally I don't care to some extent. I like Apple's hardware and I can tolerate the OS (I do prefer Ubuntu) but for productivity (Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, Photoshop, etc.)

Windows 7 isn't bad, I mean 10 kinda has me on the border of not liking it and being on par with 7.
