My Ivy Bridge Build

jansajt

So here's my build, I've kind of been reluctant of showing my build because in comparison to other builds it's not that great, but i still did my best on my tight budged of 1000 euros for everything you see pc related on the pics.

So here are my specs:

-Intel i5 3570 @3.40ghz
 (Turbo 3.80ghz)
-Sapphire HD 7950 3gb OC
-Gigabyte ga-z77-d3h
-Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1000gb
-Bitfenix Shinobi Window Usb 3.0

-Lg DVD writer

-Lg IPS234v display

-Logitech z623 stereo system (yea they were pricey, but soooo worth it)

-Logitech g500

-Plantronics 380 (I don't like wearing headphones so i cheaped out here)

Now the pics:

The CX500's sleeving kinda sucs I should get to individually sleeving the cables

The sapphire hd 7950 runs really cool, and it looks great, it's the centerpiece of the system.

I definitely need a new cpu cooler because the stock one is loud as s**t, any recommendations? Cable management could use a little refinement, but I'll come around to it.

So that was my system, hope you liked it, as i said it was made on a tight budget. Sorry if I made any mistakes while typing, as I'm from Slovenia in Europe and english isn't my primary laguage.

Why stock cooler? you could even get a hyper 212 evo and its only like $20 or $30

Looks good otherwise

LEDs wise, look around at brands other than bitfenix. The alchemy LED strips are good but waay too expensive. You can get better LED strips for a lot less moneyz. Build looks good though

I like it. I think you've done a really good job considering you are not custom sleeving. It's nice to see someone post a pic of a system that isn't all custom sleeving, modding and what not. Just plain and simple, the way most people actually build their pc's, I know I would.

What do you think of the nzxt led's (not the hue system), I'm probably gonna buy those.

It's pretty nifty, being able to change colours on a whim. I haven't looked into it much, so i don't know how good of a value it is. Does it all come together with the controller and the strips?

Yeah EVO 212 or Xigmatek Dark Night Hawk should be very nice perhaps get an SSD once you can afford it too. Other than that great choices for the price.

As I can't get the nzxt hue system, just the normal strips, they are just blue and have 3 settings: http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/101-sleeved-led-kit-case-accessory.html

Xigmatec dark night hawk has my reccomendation as well. For a normal low end, but still quieter, a hyper 212 cannot go wrong
