WhatPulse numbers. i average 12 000 key strokes a day

Cool, almost 12 000 keys per day. i have a feeling today will be more. its only 1pm and im at 8000.

 

and just think. each key will last 50 million presses says Cherry MX. i have 1 179 523 total...

why? it just runs in the system tray and uses .1% of my cpu and about 12mbs of ram and the very most

Would be interesting to total up. I write software for 12 hours a day usually then play for a couple. That said I'd roll my own solution rather than use this thing that you're advertising here.

Would be interesting to see a larger database of the stats. Of particular interest would be the click numbers sorted by games (to validate the 10/20 million Omron switches) and keypresses (for the 50 million for mechanical keyboards).

 

However, unless you can choose what the program can access, it's basically a keylogger.
