Narrowed it down to these following options:

I would get 2x crucial mx100 512s and shove them in raid 0...... same price and higher perforamance (assuming you have the slots)

if not the Evos are great but there have been issues that require a firmware update

Personally not used the sandisks so no comment

Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb,  4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii

None. Get a Seagate 600 Series SSD.

Oh is it for your p35x? I want to get that laptop :3

Personally I would go for the samsung, preferably not the evo model but I have had great success with them so far (the problem they had is fixable with a firmware  update)

avoid the m500, its a bit old and slow

samsung 840 evo- Firmware problems and slower with small files

sandisk extreme pro- better than ultra ii but does not support TCG opal 2.0 and eDrive encryption like 840 evo

sandisk ultra ii- same as extreme pro yet slower

crucial m500- does not support tcg opal 2.0 and eDrive encryption and is slower than the other drives.  Would suggest m550 over this though

840 evo is the best overall choice

Yes, it is. It's a great laptop :)

Yeah, I want to go Samsung but the firmware issue is a bit concerning...

Does the fix permanently fix the firmware? Have people noticed the same issue cropping up again since the restoration tool was released?

Well I just need to sell my current laptop and order it, though selling is proving the hard part, maybe ill just finance it haha!

You should do a members review of it (or just bring it to my house)

I would get the cheapest, as long as they were introduced at least on late 2012. Two MX100 512GB wouldn't be bad neither as the sweet spot for SSDs is 256~512GB of space (read it somewhere, can't remember where though, but I'm pretty sure there's a sweet spot for how big the SSD is).

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k | CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 | Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z97 MARK 1 | Memory: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB 1866MHz | GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB Windforce

Storage: Samsung 840 EVO | PSU: CM Silent Pro 720W | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe | Headset: Corsair Vengeance 2100 | Keyboard: Logitech G710+ | Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Chroma
