3 monitors:

Being able to play a game while watching the WAN show on one of the side monitors. Normally have LTT on the right hand side and a video on the left.

I've been meaning to switch over to 4x Dell U2414H monitors but I don't have the money right now ):

Also, if you use Photoshop or other editing programs, being able to have a folder with the files you need on one screen and the program fullscreen on the other is so useful.

How will the 970 handle 3x displays?

and is there any advantages in games having 2 displays?

Only games like battlefield and having the mini map on the second screen

You can't play a game on 2 monitors only 1 or 3

It will do okay. Medium settings with things like BF4 at playable FPS.

You could use two for games, but you'd have a whopping black bezel running down the middle.

EDIT: For games, having 2 is useful for doing other things like videos on the other or BF4 map on the second monitor.

I have 3 monitors, but I only game on 1 (different resolutions). It's nice being able to have most of my windows visible all the time. Also it's nice for productivity reasons.

In need of an upgrade
