Take this from a kid who'd been bullied and sorta like an outcast in my school for 4 years. Do whatever you want(within reasons). having self pity, complaining about your life or just cry(a lot) in a corner won't make your life better. I learned it the hard way. You can find happiness if you do things that you're really want and not giving a fck on the opinions of others. They'll eventually accept you and maybe, just maybe, you can find the girl of your life(but don't worry about that). If you want closure to your dad then talk to him calmly. Get friends even if you don't like them. They'll help you understand what you're doing wrong(I know cause my friends told me once that I'm always whining). You'll eventually realize that what you're doing is silly and you'll be laughing at it later.

I don't think you understand the point I was trying to make.  We can't tell you how to become less bored or happy.  That's up to you to find.  Drop what you dislike and start what you like.  Excuses of what you can/can't do won't get you far.

4. Then don't. Just don't isolate yourself too much... Some good, anonymous friends over the web can sometimes be better than people you actually meet...

5. Go read some books and listen to music. Find something that you enjoy.

When it comes to dealing with your parents, view it as they're teaching you some good habits and discipline...

As somebody with depression, I understand that life can really suck. One little thing can really set you off too and ruin your whole day. Also mood swings (although this is part of puberty to because hormones).

 

I'd recommend you find a punching bag and go to town. I do martial arts and just grab a pair of gloves and beat the hell out of the standing bag. 

Also, play video games less as that's something that just makes things worse.

You're 14. Don't worry to much about girls (you're a freshman, right? yeah, too young to handle a mature relationship). Also, girls worth your time won't care about your looks (well, maybe hair but that's Do-able see what I did there)

Watch Jacksfilms videos. Don't worry, there's plenty. They're all hilarious.

Cry - why not?

Eat lots of this.

 

Also, as somebody with divorced parents, I get having parental issues. They refuse to talk to each other leaving me inbetween them to settle complicated situations that they should figure out as the adults. I mostly tend to favor my Dad but he has a short temper. My mom is just a bitch to pretty much everybody (not to mention she hates cars and computers, both my main hobbies) and I can't stand her about 90% of the time. I suggest you spend more time on LTT cuz we'll raise you in our own little way and we're a hell of a lot more fun.

So I'm a mid-teen(i'm not gonna specify age) and im just not happy.  I know so many other teens are feeling this way but hearing their recovery stories just make me feel worse. I have heard so many solutions and none work.  People say hang with friends but this is pointless.  I have 1 really good friend that we have had similar problems but he lives across the f*cking country!!!!! I have 2 other friends (i mean good ones like that i can talk to and hang out with)  that live near but that doesn't help.  One of them just can't laugh (which laughing is the only thing that makes me feel a little better).  My other friend is ALWAYS busy.  

 

I can't get a girlfriend for a couple reasons:

1) I am ugly AF 

2) I am not fit (not fat but not  fit as well)

3) I have frequent mood swings

4) Every girl in my school that is my age are those girls like: OMG boys are gross, and girls like: i'm not dating till i'm 18.  The only girls my age at my school that would date only like the most popular boys

5) I don't open myself to anyone

6) the only girls that will date that i like are to much older than me

 

Another thing is my parents are divorced.  This is sort of a good thing because i HATE my dad!  The problem is my parents each have 50% custody.  So 50% of the time i'm trapped in that hell.

 

I am home schooled (when I mentioned people in my school i was referring to group classes/activities with other homeschoolers) and i am 2 grades ahead.  I have so much school to do.  School was never hard until this year.   I was a straight A student until this year i'm struggling to pull Cs.  I spend 3-5 hours a day in my least favorite class.  Plus i spent about 3 hours over the weekend on this course!  Plus i have 2 hours reading daily for  this class.  Then i have a collage web design course that requires 2+ hours a day.   I am trying to take an advanced geometry course but hardly finding the time to.  I had to drop one of my classes earlier this year because i simply could do all of these.  That gives my GPA a massive smack however this isnt a big deal because i currently have an over 100% GPA because school has been so easy and i have been ale to get 10+ credits a year.

 

I want to game but i can only do it at my moms for a couple reasons:

1) My dad puts a one hour cap on non school related technology use daily.

2) My computer i keep at  my moms

 

I want to play sports but I can't for two reasons:

1) I DON'T HAVE THE TIME!!!!!

2) I got pneumonia a few years ago and it hurt my lung and now i have NO stamina

 

I want to play guitar but i don't have the time.

 

I have to deal with my dad

 

I want to skateboard but I can never go  to the park and besides that don't have the time

 

I enjoy building computers but don't have the money to.

 

I want to get a job but no one will hire me during the school year.

 

I enjoy searching for parts and creating virtual PCs but then i get depressed that i can't get a job to buy them

 

I have to deal with my dad

 

No one likes me except my 3 friends lIke me

 

I'm always bored.   I have tried so many things to solve this but none work.  I love watching and creating YouTube videos but i can only do it at my mom's.  My dad has limited broadband and only allows me 1Gb non school internet per month

 

I have 60+ unplayed games n my steam library and i can never find any to play

 

I'm really good at getting into heated arguments and fights

 

 The little spare time i have i waste doing some of these things:

1) posting on LTT

2) Watching/posting youtube videos

3) Browsing deviantart

4) Deciding what game to play

5) Dealing with my dad

6) Hacking people i don't likes instagram and posting random stuff

7) Screwing with my computer (mods/hacks/cracks/web design/programing/animation)

 

I can't talk to anyone about my problems for fear they will tell my parents (i know allot of the people reading this could find ways to contact my parents and tell them but please don't)

 

I can't call a help line in fear my mom will see the number in my call log (my mom respects my privacy but i'm just paranoid one day she will check)

 

I have to deal with my dad

 

I love music but the radio (which when i'm at my dads all i do is lay on the floor listening to my radio) only plays really bad songs over and over again.  I listen to spotify but i can't at my dad's because that is on my phone/computer only.

 

So there is my life.  Well all my life i could type in my one hour.  I still i have so much more to say but i just can't for my own sake.  I don't want sympathy and i don't want people telling my life will be perfect in the future, maybe it will be, but i'm so sick of hearing people say: just make it through this then life will be perfect.  Just give  me advice or pass this up.  Any hate will be removed and reported.

Okay, I'm 17 myself, so I can relate to the shit that comes with being in your mid teens. Here's what I have:

1) Doesn't matter. I'll explain.
2) I also have terrible cardio, as someone who had near chronic asthma as a child (mostly gone now) I know how that feels. However, lift. That's what I do, and goddamn does it work. It doesn't take much carido, and it's hella rewarding if you put the time and effort in. Personally, I do callisthenics/bodyweight exercises, so no big gyms or any crap, just using your own body as resistance, so you're never at risk of over-doing it. I recommend you find a copy of "Convict Conditioning" by Paul Wade. Excellent place to start with callisthenics.
3) You should seriously look into making sure you're not depressed, or you're bipolar. It might be hard, but you should just let your mum know. I understand how some day's you absolutely hate your parents, other days you don't mind them, but they're genuinely there to help, however dumb or harsh they're being.
4) Don't get a girlfriend. Don't. It sounds crazy, but it's what you need to do. I used to feel similar to you, however getting a girlfriend won't solve your problems, you'll just offload you issues onto her, and when she leaves (which statistically speaking, she will) you'll be crushed more than ever. What you should do, is ignore that crap, and work on becoming happy as yourself. When you feel like you can live a happy life as an independent person, you're in a good place to find a partner. I could write a whole page on this, but that's the essence of it. Be happy in yourself in order to be able to be truly happy with another person.
5) This is the only one I honestly don't have an answer for. The only thing I could say, is stop caring. Not in a bad way, but just don't pay attention to anyone else. Once you do this, you'll just be able to be who you are, and that's when people are going to really come to you. But, take that with a grain of salt all the same.
Finally, when it comes to managing your time, I think you should take life by the balls, and do what makes you happy. I've been nagged and yelled at for doing things that I'm good at, but I didn't like them, so I stopped. No matter how successful you are in life, if you're not happy, it's not going to mean shit.
