Can't use Intel Graphics with Radeon?!?!?

All monitors were connected with DVI cables, at this exact moment my "problem" monitor is plugged into my GPU with my "Main" monitor ("main" and "problem" are both Samsung P2370HD's) and my third monitor is a Dell ultrasharp from ~2007 and i can't remember or read the number on it right now. It is 1080x1050 with both Samsungs being 1080p.

Which 290 do you have? Which output is the problem display connected to?

Also, I am not sure why the driver that was installed before was 14.3, I have a 14.9 driver that I thought I installed, not sure what happened there. I will try 14.9 as I just uninstalled the one I had installed and let windows reinstall the one it wanted (which worked 40 minutes ago now, doesn't work now... no updates have been done, no additional drives or software have been installed).

Im sorry, one more edit here. I am currently on drier version 13.251.9001.1001... and it is working. This is the driver windows auto dled. I was mistaken in the above post. It is in fact currently working on this driver with the problem monitor plugged into the bottom port.

You can only use 2 of the 3 dvi-d, dvi-d, and hdmi ports at once. Any additional displays need to be connected to the actively adapted display port.

I am using 2 of the GPU's DVI's and my Intel HD4600 DVI. So only two are plugged into the GPU. Which is why it was SO weird that even plugging the "problem" monitor into my HD4600 header resulted in the same issue. the AMD driver just doesn't like that monitor AT ALL.

Once again, I misread something. Not a good night for me... It looks like the 14.9 driver was in fact a 14.3. Catalyst and driver numbers do not coincide correctly. I didn't realize. 

 

I just updated again to the latest stable driver and the issue came back. So its 100% driver related. Now I just I have to find the newest driver it works with. I hope this is isn't going to be a persistent issue because if it will be from now on I will never be able to update drivers. I could potentially get a display port to DVI adapter, maybe that will work as like I said it works fine on HDMI. I just hate how HDMI doesn't look right. Colors are off, display is over sampling or whatever (edges of the desktop are off the sides of the monitor) and its pretty fuzzy because of it.

I am going to try the latest beta driver and hope it works. Not really expecting it too, I will start going backwards with drivers if this doesn't work.

It probably has to do with some post processing settings--of which there are quite a few possible culprits. Can I can some screens of the current settings?

You want a screenshot of the catalyst settings? They are all "stock settings"

 

Just FYI, in windows when I go to "screen resolution" it only shows up two monitors, so windows doesn't even see the third being plugged in. Same thing when I go to computer management. I just tried the newest beta driver, didn't fix it.

Like I mentioned, you can only use 2 of the 3 non-displayport ports at a time. (Unless the displays are being duplicated but this isn't that case)

Yes, I know. I only ever use the 2 DVI on GPU and one on mobo. This should work... correct? Since the mobo isn't tied to the GPU.

Woodenmarker, your not going to like this, but I just plugged in my problem monitor into my intel graphics and restarted. And they all worked. BUT, now the issue I had before is back!

 

When I wake from sleep the bad monitor turns off because my intel drivers seem to just stop working. On a fresh restart its fine, but when I wake from sleep it craps out . See what I am saying, its like once you think you have something narrowed down, it just throws the curveball you thought you already figured out back at you.

I plugged my dell back into my mobo, and the intel drivers showed back up (by intel drivers I mean when I right click on the desktop there is Intel Graphics properties). When my problem monitor is plugged into my mobo they go away. So, this is telling me this monitor is just friking bad.... It works, but something in its software/firmware is just totally jacked up.

They should work just fine. The 2 of the 3 dvi and hdmi connectors is due to how the graphics card is designed.

Have you made sure to enable Hybrid Multi Monitor or whatever it might be called in the bios: System Agent Configuration -> Graphics Configuration?

As you can see, in bios it works fine. It just mimics my main monitor. But as soon as it hits windows login screen, it goes dark.

Also, yea it's enabled in bios. This is the weirdest thing ever.

This is what happens when I boot. It just turns off. Intel header is powering dell on right. Top dvi on gpu is powering middle. Bottom gpu is powering left "problem" monitor.

I don't know if this is really relevant, but when I had my GTX 670 I would accidentally plug my monitor into the HDMI port on my mobo and it would still work fine. This was on hackintosh too.

Not really, thanks tho. Any ideas from anyone is helpful at this point. It is literally the weirdest issues I have ever had.

This is with all ATI software and drivers removed, and uninstalled it from computer manager as well. Do a reboot, and look. All three work as they did before. As I typed this. Windows downloaded and installed driver package version 13.251.9001... On it's own like it did after a fresh format. And all three work. I'm telling you, this is beyond bizarre.
