Anyone else having issues with new YouTube 60fps support?

Really? That's so dumb!

I recalled playing 1080p video on Firefox though... Does FF not support the HTML5 player?

When you use flash (which until now I have been forcing), all resolutions are available on all videos, but at <=30fps. If you use the HTML5 player (which now cannot be disabled in the latest version, although I have convinced YouTube that my browser is an old version so it works), for some videos (the videos that are encoded in VP9), you can watch them at 2160p60fps, but the majority of videos are only available in the H.264 codec, which Firefox currently has limited support for - it only supports it with DASH playback disabled (support is being worked on though). YouTube requires DASH playback to be enabled in order to use and resolutions other than 360p and 720p, and they are limited to <=30fps.

I have just changed a config value which should hopefully enable experimental DASH with H.264, so now I need to watch some videos and see whether it works.

That seems very odd, make sure all your drivers are up to date, that seems very odd.

Yep everything is now up to date and still it persists.

Specs are on my profile page

Im having issues too, 720p60fps works fine, but 1080p60fps drops frames like nobody's business.

Try following my instructions above

I just downloaded the update for the beta, what do I do after that?

Run the .exe , Then do the rest of the instructions, Btw this only works if your running a 64 Bit OS

As it did on my computer

I have it but videos that go up to 1080p60fps on the normal player only go up to 720p MP4 on the HTML5

That's odd, It shouldn't be happening.

This is 2 separate screenshots from the same video

So let me get this sstraight,

thes html5 player only goes up to 720p mp4

But the Default player allows 1080p 60fps but doesn't work/ has frame loss?
