Hi guys,

I have been looking at the prices of the new intel processors and I found th same CPU in two versions, with significant price differences. One is the OEM, the picture next to the oem cpu is just the top of the cpu. The other: BOX version is the cheaper and the picture next to it is the box of the chip. What is the difference betveen OEM and box?

Intel crappy cooler in box version vs no cpu cooler at all. Get OEM and seperate cooler.

WOW I think that there is a mistake on the page that I am looking at:

INTEL Core i7-5930K 3.50GHz 2011-3 OEM

is more expensive than the

INTEL Core i7-5930K 3.50GHz 2011-3 BOX

and the

INTEL Core i7-5820K 3.30GHz 2011-3 BOX

is more expensive than the

INTEL Core i7-5820K 3.30GHz 2011-3 OEM

Tray vs box

one is retail packaged (blue box + stock cooler) and one is just a CPU.
