Intel's Kitchen - Swedish Computer Building Game Show

BAPEsta

Intel's Kitchen, a Swedish one-episode Game Show, just aired tonight where six teams of two squared off in a battle with literally blood, sweat and tears, to become Swedens best computer builder. The winners grabbed the massive prize of each getting an identical copy of the computer they built and a gift card each equal to the cost of the computer they built.

Apparently our own LTT Forum Member @MetallicAcid was on the show! Pretty cool!

The winner was based on looks, price(low is better) and benchmarks.
The winning computer worth approx. 22000 SEK = ~$3000 which was also the 2nd cheapest computer in the competition:

The game show is unfortunately only in Swedish.

Whoa!!!

Edit: Ok no I change my mind, incredibly cheesy, the competition makes no sense. Absolutely horrible, people building regular PCs and making a contest out of it, pretty pointless and boring. I would like to see contests with like the most extreme, elegant or smallest PCs.

@MetallicAcid is that you?

He uses the same IRL name on his LTT forum profile, so yes, I'd say it's him!

At least they were under pretty tight time restrictions and had to OC it and get good benchmarks.

This was really cringe worthy. The people in it were nice, the hosts were good but something just felt... wrong.

I don't think the concept was that good.

You did a good job @MetallicAcid.

Edit: Hehe, when you hit 500 posts you should change your title to "Young Tom Cruise".

Two tumbs up for going with the Noctua CPU cooler instead of the Corsair AIO.

Haha it was pretty funny yeh, but unfortunately I don't agree with Erik & Mackan hosting it, they're not funny at all. They lowered the quality. Would have been cooler with Emil and Jonas from Sweclockers.

Have to disagree, they're funny in their own shows, but this shows subject is totally out of their element or what i should say, would have been better with Emil and Jonas yes.

It was an experience. It was fun when we were actually competing, but it as boring between filming.

We were there from 0830-0300 though, and there was no heater in the building. It was like 10c outside..
