Help with parts compatibility

Go to solution Solved by the jolly roger,

PSU is overkill, if you dont plan to add another GPU later on, 300-400w is more than enough, even if you want to overclock, other than that everything looks nice :)

As for RAM, i would go for something from Gskill or AMD branded memory

Hi guys, im in need a basic gaming pc for 400 euro.

This is the parts i had in mind:

Motherboard: ASRock FM2A88X Extreme4+ AMD A88X(72,90€)

APU: Amd A10-7850K(157,90€)

Ram: Corsair Vengeance PRO Black 2133Mhz 2x4Gb(89,50€)

PSU: Cooler Master B600 - 600W(54,90€)

Storage: WD Caviar Blue 750Gb -optional (60,90€) ; WD Caviar Blue 320Gb (from a old laptop)

Total:436,10€

Now my problem is that after a more detailed inspection of the motherboard on their website e noticed that they say that this corsair ram inst supported.

Im open for suggestions and im sorry for English errors and forum rules

PS:I already tried to post this topic and failed so there might be an other post by me made some hours ago.

Just choose a different type of 1600 MHz RAM (for the same price). You can also go for an 128 GB SSD for about the same price as that new HDD. About 500 GB should be plenty for now anyways. You can always add another 1 TB HDD later.

i forgot to say that i intend to add a GPU after and so the corsair memory is a no go?

What games will you play until you get the GPU?

An APU isnt worth it if you are going to buy a GPU later ;)

Change the PSU to a Corsair CX430.

The memory is supported, I suppose.

Can you link us to the store that you are going to buy the parts?

but i have a question, i know that ssd die from several writes and im constantly downloading and installing and uninstalling so i think it would die very fast, plus i dont get much money so i have to make it count.

I think saying it dies from reading writing is a little over exaggerated. Anyways, I was just saying an SSD is worth it in the long run. May be a big investment in the beginning, but it will pay of in the long run.
