Which GTX 970 will make my FPS explode?

Hey, I am in the market for a GTX 970 (but I can dream for the 980...) and I was wondering which one I should get. I am still planning this build and I am looking at the Cooler Master N600 case (GPU max length 15.94 inches) and an EVGA 750w Full Modular 80+ Gold Gen 2 PSU. (Both of these are in the build below)

I am looking for a GTX 970 and leaning towards the Asus STRIX, but there's the EVGA, Gigabite, MSI, and others out there. I am looking for quiet and cool with good overclocking and a double slot width to provide an opportunity for SLI later. I am going for a black with red and blue accents build but this takes a back seat to performance. What are your thoughts on the 970's?

FPS is not physically capable of exploding. To be honest, any 970 would be good for an FPS boost unless you have a 780 or above.

I got the ASUS Strix 970 this week and I love it.. It's quiet, GPU tweak is easy to set-up (it even has some preprogrammed G(Gaming) mode which overclocks it slightly) and

yes, overall a great card! =)

The Gigabyte Windforce OC isnt bad at all either for its lower price point, just slightly weaker with the cooling, but will still keep the temps under 80 when OCed to the max.

Windforce OC only has 2 heatpipes vs the G1's 4.

Though I'm gaming with mine at 1466 Mhz stable on stock voltage and they dont go above 60 so they are still great. I cant see the point in overvolting for another 33 Mhz after I found they are 24/7 stable on stock volts and 1466.

If I say Zotac will I win the comp..lol

Having played with the Gigabyte GTX970 G1 Gaming prior to getting my 2xGigabyte GTX980 G1 Gaming I did a overclock.

Gigabyte has hit it out of the ball park with the GTX970/980 cards this time around, I am very impressed.

Here's the results of the overclock, hope it helps make up your mind.

Regarding FPS, playing Path of Exile on my Asus ROG Swift at max settings and an almost constant 143 FPS is a sight to behold!

I should definitely reduce the AA from 8x to 4x though to maintain that much better, its sooo lush.

I should also try out ULMB mode.
