I like 970 for it's performance and power consumption (that mean less heat, better OC) for good price, maybe best price/performance.

In particularly, those cards from Zotac have a good design, custom PCB isn't a bad thing and overclock possibilities are very good for enthusiasts.

NICE!!!! I really like the 3 fans and overall design of the AMP! Extreme. This would be huge upgrade from my HD 6850. Also looks like something Batman would have in his PC

Honestly, Zotac is one of those companies that have often flown under the radar in previous generations. They build some decent cards from my experience, so I'm glad to see them keeping up this time with more popular brands like MSI, Asus, Sapphire, etc. We will have to see how they hold up in the long run with the new 900 series though.

 

There are only a couple other things that come to mind. I think the dual fan design of the Omega is sufficient in most cases. While I can appreciate the reduced sound of the Extreme, I'm not sure that it is worth the higher cost adding a 3rd fan. Maybe I'm just used to graphics cards that sound like vacuum cleaners lol.

 

Other than that, I love the rigidity and I think I'm one of the few that doesn't mind losing a 3rd slot for a single beefier card over an SLI setup. Don't get me wrong, SLI is kick ass...but the support is severely lacking on the productivity side (video production).

Generally the whole 900 line having such good price to performance range compared to past ranges such as the 700 series.

I love the 900 series overall because of the awesome features the cards have, and the price id awesome too! The ZOTAC cooler just takes it to the next level for me.

I just love the appearance of the Zotac GPU's. They look so sleek despite keeping up performance. The low power consumption of Nvidia's 900 series also seems really attractive.

My favorite thing about the 900 series would have to be how power efficient it is when compared to previous GTX generations. Keeps my computer from turning into a space heater.

I think carbon fiber finishes are just as tacky as bright gold though But cosmetic issues aren't actually issues at all for me

I just bought a msi gtx 770 twin frozr for more than the price of the 970... so bummed. I love the lights on the extreme, and the performance increase would be amazing.
