Speakers and Amp for ~£100

Dude

Hey guys,

Gonna go straight to the point - £100 (preferably less, more if justifiable) to get a good set of speakers and an amp. I would also consider active speakers. The speakers would be for movies, games and music.

Thanks.

Hit up Richer Sounds, Tibo Edge Mini speakers £20 (you'd be looking to upgrade these in the future) and grab a Cambridge Audio Topaz Am1 amplifier both should come to just under £100 although the speakers aren't fantastic reviews seem to indicate they're perfectly feasible as stand ins, they're not shielded though if that bothers you. This setup would give you a decent starting point for expansion as the amplifiers a decent bit of entry level kit.

EDIT: Another option if you shop about is a set of Harmon Kandon Soundsticks or some Bose Companion 2.0s both can be grabbed for under £100/.

The M-Audios are another great option, as ShadowCaptain stated above.
INB4 someone links a Logitech 5.1 set for £29.99
