My dad has a 1994 kawasaki ninja zx 11 0-60 in 2.5 its not running atm but i want to fix that so he can teach me to ride

I think she doesn't want the responsibility being on her if I get hurt. That's my guess. She's never been clear on why.

You want to be taught how to ride on a 1052cc bike? O.o

It looks like a Ducati but I have a feeling it's far more exotic than that. Nice bike nonetheless. I love the exhaust and overall profile of the bike. Nakeds/streetfighters and bobbed bikes are my favorite.

i just want to learn but i cant get a bike until i move out, or i will get kicked out lol and my dad will not let me drive that "bike he would kill himself" he once told his friend about me taking it to work and back.

I'm not into sport bikes but I'd kill for a motard/supermoto, a black DRZ 400 like this in particular with an extra set of knobbies.

If you get a Suzuki, you HAVE to get it in yellow ;)

I was looking at getting a 2014 CBR, but insurance was insane. Nearly £4k for fully comp...

I was looking for Third Party Fire and Theft for the R125, it's about £440 and for the CBR it's £560. Both 2013 or older.

Fully comp on the R125 is £2800.

 

Looks like I'm sticking with Third Party Fire and Theft.

probably. it isn't mine unfortunately, it was my mates dads. he has one these now now cos the rc8 gave him back ache  :P

When I get it, I will have to change my current insurance to cover the new bike, then about 2 weeks after I get my NCB and I get it at that price.

 

Need to phone them up to see how much that will all cost me.

Oooooh a bike thread, nice stuff. I'm looking to buy a 250R sometime soon as my first bike as an alternate commuter to school (my Camry gets good mileage, but not as good as a bike).

I'm looking to get my permit by the end of this month and enroll in a safety course next month when they open to get my license. Then I plan to get a bike. I have good credit for someone my age and want to improve it further so I think I'll finance a used bike that costs around $8K with low miles. I found some nice GSXR-600s and Ninja 650 with less than 2K miles. The GSXRs were running around $7-$8K and the Ninja $5K. Decisions.. decisions... I know for certain I wouldn't outgrow the Gixxer

Someone mentioned Akrapovič? Looks like they really made a name for themselves, one of the few Slovenian companies to do so. Good to see moto enthusiasts know the name!

Those exhausts sound great on GSXRs and Ducatis.
