Posted October 10, 2014 Author Already got the motherboard, cpu, cooler, ram, GPUs, and PSU in. This, as I'm sure you guys are aware of, is the easy part. I'll be having 11 mechanical harddrives in this PC (and one SSD) so getting the wiring to look good is going to be the hard part. I keep my blu-ray collection on my PC. I'll post a few pictures tomorrow. It won't be complete for a few days. I'm waiting on one more harddrive cage (the case only comes with 2) and the nvidia branded SLI bridge to be delivered. Posted October 10, 2014 the only way to make this really better would be to add watercooling, and that costs a half a ton (around $1500, so if it was in pennies, it would be around 850lb, not quite half a ton) how overpriced is alienware? 2.0 htc one m8 review anker mouse review razer kraken pro review lenovo yoga 11s review how overpriced is alienware? Posted October 10, 2014 The 690 is true SLI, in fact it's the ultimate expression of SLI because it doesn't have the downside of requiring multiple slots to have multiple GPU's. -The Bellerophon- Obsidian 550D-i5-3570k@4.5Ghz -Asus Sabertooth Z77-16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866Mhz-x2 EVGA GTX 760 Dual FTW 4GB-Creative Sound Blaster XF-i Titanium-OCZ Vertex Plus 120GB-Seagate Barracuda 2TB- https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/60154-the-not-really-a-build-log-build-log/ Twofold http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/121043-twofold-a-dual-itx-system/ How great is EVGA? http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/110662-evga-how-great-are-they/#entry1478299
 The SLI will work, I don't even think the difference in frequency will be a issue. Posted October 11, 2014 Author I decided to change things up a bit. I didn't like the stock cables that came with the PSU so I went and bought custom sleeved power and sata cables. I was planning on posting a few more pictures, but I figured I'd keep you guys in suspense until early this week when I get them in and installed.
